About East Side Neighborhoods
East Side Neighborhoods is a form of community designed to connect, equip and empower friends and neighbors to envision working together for the good of our neighborhoods. Our vision is to see people rise in their neighborhoods by loving people where they are, serving the community and seeking justice in order to bring hope and flourishing for all.
This form of community is in connection with the East Side Congregation of Redeemer Presbyterian Church, but is designed for all regardless of beliefs. East Side Neighborhoods is comprised of five neighborhoods, including three on the East Side of Manhattan and two in Queens. Larger events will happen in the form of quarterly gatherings to connect neighbors where they live, and smaller local events will take place organically throughout the year. We hope that you’ll invite friends, family and coworkers.
